I would recommend you buy the 3 month treasury note (available through a brokerage account). You will get 4%APY.
Today T-bills received:
4 week - 3.660
8 week - 3.896
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

If your account gets opened without having to submit verification then you still have time. Tomorrow is actually the last day.

Yes, just like buying a stock. 1 bond equals 1k.

T-bills for dummies like me. I use Fidelity so I just searched Fidelity on her site. She has all the others to.

Apparently only new buyers get the fixed rate of 0.4%. Bonds already purchased still get 0 so the projected 6.48% is till accurate for them

have a considerable sum saved up in 2 fidelity Roth Iras, the accounts were opened about a yr ago, and since then i haven't invested the money at all as the market wasn't looking to pretty and I was scared to put it anywhere. however w interest rates high now, is there a risk free or low risk place I can put them to get some gains? like can they be in a
high interest savings account  or  a t-bill etc. while still in a roth ?

any help would be appreciated, thanks
