The quote is actually "that would value the startup at $3 billion". It's worth what people will pay for it and if investors value it at $3 billion then that's what its "worth".
Frankly I couldn't care less how much they're worth.
The only time it would matter to me is if it goes public and by then it would be so overhyped (the current hype is nothing in comparison to what wall st provides) I wouldn't be buying it anyways.
I'm also sick of discussing whether I think they will do well or not.
I think both sides made have made their opinions clear.
It sounds like everyone can agree that it's a decent-to-great option for shopping right now,
so we may as well enjoy it.
Let's just enjoy the prices for now and
