I need to fly to Israel in the beginning of January for a short in and out, my best option currently is $869 through El Al. Should I be worried?
I would be worried flying ELAL period.... Actually that may be a bit harsh but if the difference is minimal i would pay it.
The current situation in ELAL is tenuous i would be wary not worried. But i would still book.
Clasd action against elal for lengthening flight times. http://m.jpost.com/Business-and-Innovation/El-Al-troubles-not-over-as-yet-unresolved-pilots-crisis-leads-to-class-action-lawsuit-474087#article=10389NjZCRkQ4RDlFQjE2QUMwQjJGNTNGQTg5NUY4NjU4QTc=
the flight to EWR is delayed to 5:30.
not related to the strike, AMS - TLV today is cancelled due to late inbound plane, & unable to make the return before shabos.
actually they changed their mind, & the flight is operating & arriving in TLV at 18:49 !!! when its already night לכל הדעות.so LY is not שומר שבת.
Frnd is scheduled on LY7 on Sunday from TLV how do I know what equipment it will be? Also if it's cancelled
If they have your cell phone number you will probably get a text message.
Thats on the cancelation part what about equipment?
My FIL recently took an ELAL flight and got notified by SMS that flight will be operated by Hi Fly.
