1) Yes, I did it in less than a week.
2) Yes, though people have reported problems getting the annual fee refunded/prorated when they didn't have another Amex card. I suspect it's still doable but I have no experience in those situations.
3) You should be fine, but have something semi-plausible on hand just in case (I'm sure you can figure it out).

4) Pretty much, but why not say something more palatable.
5) Bonus points should post once $1k in transactions post to your account, shouldn't be more than a few days.
6) Yes, but see #3.

I SIGNED ON USING THE WRONG REFFERAL LINK OF 25K INSTAEDOF THE 50K ANY WAY TO GET THEM TO GIVE THE OTHER 25K??

double check if it still says 50,000 for spending 3000 in 3 months. The MB costs 475 instead of 450 but with the link https://www304.americanexpress.com/personal-card-application/mercedes-benz-platinum-card/20005-10-0 you only have to spend 1000 in 3 months.

Whatever you do, double check the t&c's and take a screenshot of the page.

Let us know if you get it! I just logged into MR and it says Pending 25k for my signup bonus, but I have screenshots that show 50k. Really not happy that I have to call in and explain what I signed up for.

You guys who signed up with referral link 50k for 3k spend and got the points instantly, did it first show as pending or became available immediately? Also if mine shows as pending already does that mean I have met the spend already?

i dont thing the screen shot is useful for the second card , cuz officely its 50k for fist time card members ( from my understanding it says that its for first time members only )

My 50k points are pending. (applied through referral link). Rep said that they tried to make them available but system wouldnt let these bonus points through now, so I must wait 6-8 weeks which I really dont want to, because want to close it before, any advice?

I apologize if this has been covered already, but I can't seem to find an explanation of this.... Can someone clarify whether cancelled Platinum Cards still work as they always did at participating lounges? (And if so, why would someone use a Priority Pass card instead?) Does one's cancelled Platinum Card only work if there was never a Priority Pass card issued in connection with that Platinum account?
