Seemed very softball and she didn't seem credible to me personally. Host is pretty gross though too. Why did she choose this show to appear on?

Didn't explain most of the texts or the expressions she's making in her morning after video. And her facial expressions and reactions seemed off.

I'm not a Bauer fan either. I still partially blame him for the 2016 WS loss and think his antics over the years dug him into this hole. But MLB overreached in this case.

His antics certainly didn't help him earn any benefit of doubt.

Thoughts on the playoffs so far?

There are usually some upsets in playoff baseball, but the top 5 (by win/loss) regular season teams went down, and we're left with the 6-7-8 and 12th best teams! Pretty extreme, no? Plus, aside from a few exciting games, it's been pretty lopsided - only 2 wins total out of a max of 20 from the 8 series losers. Hopefully the rest of the way will be a little more exciting/dramatic.

Every other league has tens of deals the first day of free agency. Some even have deals worked our before FA officially begins. First 3 days of MLB FA... 1 re-signing.

Every other league has some sort of salary cap so the players are pretty much sure about what they're going to earn. So it just boils down to where the player wants to go and other smaller financial considerations. MLB player are actually negotiating and trying to get the best possible deal. Same for the teams. All that takes time and everyone is scared to blink first and agree to less (from the player's POV) or more (from the team's POV).

Thank the cheap owners, not the league. Ohtani will be worth every penny. There isn't a single team not making money hand over foot. The Orioles earned 264 million in revenue last year. Including all expenses, not just payroll, they spent 67m. Not only are they able to spend 70m on Ohtani, he would more than pay for himself with the added revenue.
