It was hard to believe that this does not exist, but I searched for a while and couldn't find it. Please merge if this thread already exists.
We are looking to do an impromptu end of summer road trip and thinking about NYC. Traveling with 5 kids (ages 1.5 - 9), so 7 of us. NYC came up as a great place to spend Shabbos since it would be fun for the kids (Central Park, skyscrapers, other walking tourist sites). Plus a large eruv as the younger kids are not quite strong walkers yet.
Problem is finding a place to stay. What are the best options on points. We don't mind 'roughing it' (two beds), but would really prefer a suite. Realize that would need to 'sneak' kids past front desk. Also would strongly prefer to book using points. AirBNB doesn't have anything remotely affordable. Eruv is a must.
Any suggestions from the group?
PS - if Manhattan absolutely does not work, any other suggestions of spending a nice shabbos in the NYC area?
