Can anyone recommend an electric scooter brand or model for a kid in the $100 range?
Perhaps a razor? I'd suggest a good non electric model.
The kid specifically wants an electric one. Some of them seem to have a hand lever, and some don't. Any idea which is better? Or is it an insignificant difference?
Where do you get a kid for $100?
How old is the kid? My kids have https://www.walmart.com/ip/Gotrax-Xoom-Electric-Scooter-for-Kids-Age-of-6-12-Kick-Start-Boost-and-Gravity-Sensor-Kids-Electric-Scooter-6-Wheels-UL-Certified-E-Scooter/260937619 it doesn't go to fast, kick to start and starts to slow down when they lift their foot and has a rear brake not hand brake. Another option is https://www.walmart.com/ip/Razor-Power-Core-90-Electric-Powered-Scooter-Black-Green/46754736 it's a little faster, controlled with wrist throttle and stops with hand brake.
I'm not sure what you mean, the hand break?
Thanks!I was eying the second one, but it's sold out in the color I want. Would you recommend the first one, or should I wait for the other one to become available?
Is that what it is? Assumed so, but some have two of them, so I wasn't sure.
On some scooters the acceleration is controlled by placing your foot on a sensor and some have a wrist or thumb throttle. As far as brakes, some have hand brakes while others have a foot brake.
