I asked my banker yesterday, nd he told me they have no plans to end the exclusives program.
I'm not sure he knows what he's talking about though.
Love me or hate me. I still love you.

I spoke to banker last Friday when I opened a checking acct (already had freedom card)... He was surprised that I knew it was ending, Bec he said most ppl didn't know.  He also said that the 10% bonus at end of year is sticking around, and only the 10 points/transaction was going away.
Always use an Amex, you'll thank me one day.

Shows how much he knows. The 10% bonus is monthly, not annually.

Assuming you could still sign up for this, is it possible to have chase change my wifes Marriot Premier Rewards to a Chase Freedom (she / I opened the account about 2 months ago) and add her onto my checking account (that I just opened) so she will qualify for the Exclusives?
I only paid 15% by switching to dansdeals

Just had a half hour conversation with a banker. He doesn't know well how 10&10 works and abviously he had no idea about it ending.

The fact that bankers don't know doesn't mean it's not happening.

You mean the card can't be changed over from Marriot to Freedom?

I mean that when you want a new card from chase you must apply for it (usually).

Good point, I for some reason thought you could have them switch cards from one version to another if you don't want them to pull your credit. (like to downgrade from a card with a yearly fee to one without)

Just did today for a relative freedom first approved automatically. Then SP and UA, both will need recon as he currently has both. So was no brainer to go for freedom separately in this case.
I got a call Fri. from Chase lending dept. with a message to call them back. Called back tonight, they wanted to approve me for the United but they just wanted to slash one of my CL's so I slashed my BA from $10K in half. Now I have a UA Visa and a UA MC :)

While at it, tried to reconsider the SP MC application and they told me that the application was for a Visa as well... I had Dan's MC application link copied by me and used that on Nov 9th... I guess it redirected to a Visa app...  >:( >:( >:(

Congrats on the approval.

Chase just called you out of the blue, or did you previously request a callback?

I was on the phone for  few hours on Friday. They really cracked down on only having 1 sapphire preferred open at a time.

:( I guess "having lots of different spending categories" won't work?
What were you telling them?
