Barber coming down to you

Some people are having barbers come down to them to give haircuts.
How come the Rabbi's haven’t put a stop to this ?

What do Rabbi's have to do with this?
Some people are having their groceries delivered to their homes? Some people are having pharmacy deliveries...?Some people have cleaning help or aides coming every day. I personally wouldn't call a barber to me at this time but I don't think it's necessary to put the blame on Rabbis

1.  Groceries, pharmacy, aides etc. are essential. Haircuts are not.
2. In some communities, having closely cropped hair is almost religious. Especially when it’s a religious thing not to have a haircut after Pesach. It is unfortunately Possible that some of these people don’t have enough common sense/independent thinking capacity to realize that they can forgo a haircut this year, and need their Rabbi to remind them of this.

So you are the people who aren’t against big gathering either ?
Barber coming to someone’s house isn’t pekuach nefesh and is a lack of social distancing.
Groceries is a need, you can’t compare the 2

Seriously?? I'm probably not against big gatherings but wouldn't have a barber come to my house?
While groceries is a need, I have passed groceries that we're packed - no social distancing and no masks etc. So while you can't compare the 2 in terms of essential vs non essential, You also can't compare being among many, unprotected to being among 1 if you're both properly protected.
In any case, it's irrelevant. My point was just to stop pushing all the blame on Rabbis. I believe they have a life too (although I may be wrong). Please use common sense and avoid unnecessary contact. That's all.

Some ppl need a rabbi for everything, even in lieu of a doctor, marriage counselor, and psychologist. Then they need to open a thread when the rabbi didn't give his opinion...oy!
