That's my question when used to swipe to pay with a CC , when did you say the discount? Right away by making the payment? Cuz I have auto pay set up now but when I manually try to pay with cc no discount is showing up.

Autopay discount is part of your plan. In order for it to remain on your plan you need to have a bank account on autopay on your account settings. As long as that is there, you will get the discount

You mean to say it will be reflected on the closing statement?

Why not set up auto pay with the cc? I think that will give you the discount.
Not working with CC only with bank account or debit card
You are correct. It works with AT&T, but not with Verizon.

Update: I figured out how to pay with CC and still get the auto pay discount.

Here is how I do it.

I set up auto pay with bank account. Set the date the latest possible. Next statement closes, "I turn OFF auto pay" I pay manually with CC , and immediately turn auto pay back ON. Been working for me for a few months with no issue.

If I didn't turn Off auto pay by the time I paid with CC they ended up clawing back the discount.

With autopay on and the connectivity program I have an $8 credit each month that disappears by the next month is there any add-on that cost ~$8 to take advantage of the credit?

Do they claw back the discount if only partial payment is made by CC without turning off Auto-Pay?

So turn OFF or Pause?

I just attempted. Today was my auto-pay day. Balance $0. I paused. Made two Amex BP card payments, then unpaused. Let's see what my bill looks like in two weeks.

Did it say on the page before making the payment that you auto pay discount will be taken away this month ?

Yes. But the balance was $0 at that point.

What triggers the loss / claw back of auto pay discount? (A) Having a negative balance or (B) making extra payments via credit card.

Both currently apply to my account but I'd quit making the extra payments if it gave me back my auto pay discount.

What happened with this?
(I made a CC payment for less than my full bill this month and got an email that they are charging me an extra $100 bc I am not eligible for autopay discount this month.)
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.
