if the 40k has a $89 fee and 35 does not i personally would not pay $89 for 5k.
i just applied for 35k and it's processing though i usually get approved right away.

on second thought maybe the companion certificate is only for the 40k. what i sthe meaning to the fine print "Applicants who are approved for the World MasterCard will receive 15,000 bonus miles after the first use of your account for a Purchase or Balance Transfer"?

I did the 35k and got the companion cert.
It means you have to use your account as in spend at least $0.01

i by mistake applied with a 30k link plus AF first year. will i have any luck getting them to change it to 35k plust first year free?

My brother just called and got his AF waived after having the card open for well more than 60 days so far.
