There is a Dan hotel near the Waldorf and King David that is often very reasonably priced.  Friends stayed there and were very happy.

Early pictures of pools and hotel grounds can be found on the instagram page

I really hope the restaurant has even basic rabbanut, one of the beautiful pictures for the Italian restaurant looks like it has lobster or other shellfish. I actually try not to get into all the kashrut arguments on here but I’d be sad if a new chain hotel served mamash treif.

+1  -- I've emailed the hotel to find out if they will be fully kosher or even if one of the restaurants will be kosher.  I have to think that their breakfast restaurant would be kosher.  But, as you noted some of the pics and descriptions suggest the whole place could be treif.  I'll post when I hear back.

Here's the reply I just received from The Jaffa -- so much for this option.

Thank you for your email.

I would like to clarify that the hotel is a non Kosher hotel and I am not sure if we will have a Sukkah.

If there is anything else I can assist you with, please let me know.

+1 that's truly a shame and as a conference organizer I can't believe this won't affect their meeting business but I guess they know their market... and @bb_sam thanks for taking the time to research this and post it here.

Thank you.  Given the February visit, should we be concerned with the cooler weather? Do any of the spas have indoor options as well (pool, etc...).  Should we consider beresheet in mitzpe Ramon? Cramim? If $$ were not an option... what’s the best choice out there?

Carmel is not very cold even February time. My wife was there and said it was one of the best experiences she ever had!
