I see no mention of what happened to the checked in baggage, I'm sure out of 170 passengers some checked in. Were they taken off the line in FRA? Did they remove tags with Jewish sounding names? If they were flown to BUD then it probably caused a major headache for those passengers and I wonder how LH dealt with that.

One of the passengers that was rebooked on the next LH flight told me his luggage was transferred.

That’s basically it. From someone who spends a lot of time on Twitter this is what I would do:
Lead with a video. Link to your article in reply. Every time you wanna add a thought or bump it, keep replying in the same thread. This keeps it tight. DM some big accounts that might find this story very relevant to their Twitter/brand followers

Kol Hakavod for doing this and raising the awareness. This could've easily been forgotten if not for your article. Dont beat yourself up for the watermark issue...

Yeah that’s very interesting and not surprising it’s all. Twitter algorithms hate linking away from their site especially to YouTube. They are also usually less visually appealing. Do you want to play within the platform you’re on you totally have the right idea there

Yeap its a catch-22 bc a short video is one of the types of content that will go viral on Twitter not a link to an article, but ultimately the article is what you want to spread.
I honestly think this ended up going as well as it could have because you have the video going viral which credits your account and pretty much links to your article not too far away

He posted it first, I guess he downloaded it from the YouTube link in the draft post I posted here or from the OJPAC Tweet, which was my 1st mistake. He also uploaded to Twitter vs YouTube, which was my 2nd mistake.

At the end of the day the story is what matters and the more this gets out the better. But definitely been a learning experience.

Seems like Meturgaman got the video directly from the person who took it, as per my source, though the one he posted is clearly from DD, as the blurring is identical. I would assume that he justified posting it without crediting it because he had the original video. And he does repeatedly credit DD in other Tweets, and has retweeted the link to the DDMS story.

ETA: I may have been mistaken about this. I know he got videos from a passenger, but I don't think that video was one of them.

Not suggesting you shouldn't link to your site here, rather noting the benefit of native twitter video vs youtube is massive, along with conforming to the style that the twitter crowd reacts to. Furthermore - even if a link would be a distraction, you'd rather have 10% of 3 million viewers click through than 100% of 10,000.

Yes, in retrospect it was a mistake. But we had to do things quickly once OJPAC scooped the draft post that was linked here.
