770 had a similar issue when they bought the Brooklyn Jewish Center to make it into a school, and since it was located across Eastern Parkway, it was in a different Police District, and they had trouble getting a crossing guard from either district. To make matters worse, one district (77th precinct) was part of "Brooklyn North" and one (71st precinct) was part of "Brooklyn South," so each had a completely deferent set of administration.
They eventually had to contact NYPD headquarters in Manhattan, where a high ranking deputy commissioner had to sort it out. (The deputy commissioner is ironically a frum guy, and he was subsequently invited to a meeting with the Rebbe.)
