Cleveland = terrible allergies.

Miami = no allergies.

Had no idea before I moved to Miami, but got lucky BH.

Been terrible in Cleveland this Pesach, especially since it got warmer.

He's been getting allergy immunotherapy shots for the past few months, so BH his eyes aren't bothering him. But he is sneezing and feeling overall miserable.

Do allergies get worse as you get older? Or is this year just a lot worse than others?

I walked somewhere today for approximately 30 minutes.
I sneezed around 15 times, if not more.
My eyes were insanely itchy.
My nose ran like a faucet.

I've had seasonal allergies for many years, usually the reactions are relatively minor.
Today they were like never before.

Different plant life/allergens. It's crazy; I couldn't sleep the last couple of nights of Pesach in Cleveland, but I basically instantly felt better when I got back to Miami.

I guess this year is worse than the past.

My eyes became bloodshot today, just from the itchiness, I hardly did any rubbing. I don't recall this happening in the past.

Started here full force. The only thing relieving it for me is Advil "Cold and sinus plus".
I wonder if I could find the same stuff but without the ibuprofen and if it would work

(Each caplet contains: ibuprofen 200mg, Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride 30mg, and chlorpheniramine maleate 2mg)

Has no one here tried nettle? Works wonders for me. I was in Baltimore one summer and I had to take 2 daily for full effect but in NY area I just take as needed.
Comes in pill and tea form, and I'm much more comfortable taking it on a constant basis than a medication.

ETA This year in NY haven't needed to use it once. Anyone else had the same experience?

Try taking Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride and any other antihystamine like allegra, claritin, etc. Although those antihystamines are one in 24 hours, and the Pseudophed will need to be taken every 6 hours (I think).
