I can't speak for the cable network, but from the news articles they do not adequately mention that the numbers are nearly worthless and present it more as government supplied numbers from the local heath ministry that happens to be controlled by a terrorist.

Let me get this right. They are letting the viewers/readers know the numbers are controlled by a terrorist group and the viewers/readers are believing the numbers? The problem is not the report.

It is a bad situation to be in. It is only a matter of time before the pictures from the hospital are all over the place. We all know what the headlines will be.

So if I understand correctly;

1 - Hamas kills its own people by withholding gas from the hospital
2 - The media amplifies Hamas propaganda

And your suggestion is that Israel should reward Hamas's murder by giving them the ability to kill more Jews?

CNN has spokesman from Israel on 24/7. Anyone "with half a brain" will come to the right conclusion.

I'm not saying you are wrong, but by your account, virtually the entirety of global news media, lawmakers, and indeed the world's population who knows anything of this conflict don't even possess half a brain.
