The stated goal of this war is to eradicate Hamas. They've started in the north, and based off of pictures and clips which have been released, the north looks like it won't be habitable for quite some time. What's the plan once they finish in the north? How are they planning on getting Hamas out of the south? They can't make 2 million people evacuate to the north at this point...

That's the end goal, but how's that even possible? Although the IDF is continually rightfully eliminating thousands of terrorists, and destroying the terrorist infrastructure, at same time they have an explosive birthright in Gaza, (not to mention a significant percentage of Gazan females get married before 18, and even the age of 15.  With every kid born with the DNA of פרא אדם, and from the earliest possible age, they are indoctrinated to their life mission to wage Jihad against the Jews.

I am highly impressed of what the IDF achieved so far in Gaza, although at the enormous cost of the tragedy of the 31 IDF soldiers who lost their lives, (and the loss of innocent Gazans who did not cheer or celebrate the massacre -- if there are individuals there who exist without such malevolence).  About two decades ago (In the days when I was foolish and naive) , I embarked on a trip to Petra and back, crossing via the Allenby border. I opted for the shared bus that took me from the border crossing to Nablus Gate (Shaar Shechem). I initiated conversation to the Palestinian passengers on the bus about the conflict, and I distinctly remember one passenger—a professor. He shared that he consistently advocated against militantism to his students. However, he delved into the mindset of the "individuals", explaining that out of their frustration, if they cannot achieve their goals peacefully, they resort to terrorist attacks, and that means committing suicide, sacrificing themselves and taking along everybody (the victims) with them.

I want more than anything in the entire world for ALL the hostages to be freed immediately, and I do not doubt the IDF is 100% capable of getting to them -- but if Hamas would sense defeat, I am afraid they would rather choose an honorable death, and they would not hesitate to blow up the entire Gaza and die along with everybody else in their enclave both underground and above-ground (and chas v'shalom that we should lose the hostages).
