What's the claim for? Broken or stolen? For broken they may ask for a repair estimate first

Purchase protection has nothing to do with warranty

I asked once when purchasing about 3 months ago, and was assured that the purchase gets full coverage so long as the amex card is used for the full purchase about.

So make sure PayPal doesn't add from your PayPal balance.

What happens if I file for a chargeback on something (a laptop) that I already filed for purchase protection? (I don't know yet what's gonna come of the PP claim)

T&C are pretty clear, it should be covered..if its new and unused, which is kind of hard to have on a mattress

Depends on the cost. more expensive they usually request a receipt.
I just made a purchase protection claim for $85 that i spent on phone upgrade, and back camera lens broke. It was approved overnight, not receipt necessary.

Only reason they might is to verify return policy. Otherwise why would they, and why should you or the store care? Doesn't cost the store anything. It's not like a dispute which does.

When buying a new product from eBay (Bose Headphones to be specific), do I have anything out using an Amex or return/warranty isn't covered with eBay?
