Shuls Nearby:
Great Synagogue - Approx. 7 minute walk
Kotel around 15min walk thru the mall & arab Shuk (Only suggested when soldiers are present like friday night on the way home)
Hotel has a Shul in the basement
Shul across the street

Hechsher: Plain Rabbanut Yerushayim (not mehadrin)
hechsherim in isreal whatever your rabbi says you can eat, someone else's rabbi says is treif

If anyone is planing on staying at Waldorf and not eating the free breakfast (Hechsher, Early flight, etc') please PM shimino1

If you get free drinks vouchers and don't use them, I'll buy it off you for 10 shek per voucher.

How does it work with Shabbos bookings? have to book 2 nights or Friday booking is till after nightfall on Saturday?

Also per the receptionist they are Rabanut Mehadrin, not plain Rabanut like in the Wiki

It's plain Rabanut for several reasons, however they only use mehadrin products. No need to rehash what that potentially means, there's thousands of posts upthread. You can discuss with the mashgiach and AYLOR.

seems around 2021, i was there for pesach this year and the new chef led all the meals. there was a lot of good lamb (hard to ruin), but missed some of the signature stuff from Kadosh, esp his incredible date charoses. Hilton TLV kicks you out by noon  :-X sometimes a bit later but hardly ever motsash in the summer

Summer shabasos in WAJ are a great perk. Enough time to enjoy the spa on Friday and check out at 9 PM.

FYI if search 4 or 5 nights at a time can find availability in June , aug Sept (including Rosh hashana ) Nov and first half of Dec

Must search 4 or 5 nights won't show if less than 4 nights not sure what they are playing at but I know for fact they were blocking all the 95k rooms in past bc don't like people coming on free night certs especially bc they know they are bought and sold only open up few days before stay, now they are opening up but can't use certs bc need 4+ nights at a time

Hope someone can help - I booked a 6 night stay (5 nights 95K + 1 free night) in August. Turns out I don't need the first night. Will only be landing until second night. However, if I change the reservation, the cost will triple. Any clue if I just show up second night if they will cancel the reservation for first night no-show, or any options not to lose the reservation (I'm fine eating a night for 95K)??

It should be 4 nights + 1 free. You should be able to call reservations and ask them to deduct and refund the first night.

I called they said they will need to cancel and rebook. If they rebook now, the rate triples... Any other way around it?
