It seems like whenever there's is a BA flight available, BA.com won't show any other options with partner airlines, even if the other airlines have seats available.
Any tricks to be able to redeem BA miles on non-BA flights in this case?
Called them and they said they don't see any other airlines either...

Both available on AA.com for 20K but BA doesn't show it.

It doesn't show that option by me. Is there anywhere where I need to include partners or something?

Search 04/10-04/15, include partners, then work back to your dates.

Did you randomly just choose those dates or what?
I know there are glitches on BA. does choosing specific dates help? Or just not your dates ad then search 7 days later?

You need to find dates without BA availability and then work backwards.

So let me see if I get this right: The guidelines are to first find a date where BA doesn't have availability and only then the partner results will show. Is that correct?

Indeed, using BA miles for a TATL flight (in coach at least) is a losing proposition.

Is anyone else having a really hard time redeeming Avios for AA flights? In the past few months i have not been able to find even one available AA award flight on BA.com.

Any tips on how to use Avios on AA would be appreciated.

check flights on aa.com call ba and give them exact flights and tell them that you could not book online and please wave phone booking fee.
