you saying as far as ethics? or potentially facing criminal charges?
i was thinking that except that there is no other way to prove i wasnt doing what the ticket said i was doing... so they might accept... as far as perjury... meh
1) מדבר שקר תרחק2) It's probably not a good idea to turn a violation into a crime3) It won't work. The denial will say something like 'respondent does not submit proof that he was not parked at the location described at the time the ticket was issued.'
1) maskim... 2) 0% chance of being charged 3) you talking from experience?
Not personal experience, but secondhand from others. Still, there's no real harm in trying it, and then we'll know for sure.

Happened to me
you tried fighting and they said what?
ok so i actually just sae the ticket a lil while ago it's for parking 3 feet from pump. i wonder if that will allow me a pesach to dismiss. once they put an amount do they have to show how they measured it
nope. the cops/brownies/meter maids/traffic cops/whatevers are generally assumed to be telling the truth unless you prove otherwise. If not then you could say every ticket was made up. It's the classic alternate side fight where they say it was 11 am and you say 1059 and theres no way you can prove anything.
right there's nothing to protect us from bogus tickets... huge violation of personal freedoms... if i was a lawyer and had nothing else to do i would fight this to the top!massive chutzpa that they can take money from me with no actual evidence. i officially protest
Do you have to pay the parking ticket on a rental car? Or can I just throw out the ticket?
they'll bill the car company who will bill your cc and probably tack on a fine.
For a NJ Parking ticket (Passaic), does it matter if they left out the year of my car? My car is from NY, if that makes a difference.
