AFAIK you can't get (new) accounts with mileage-earning debit cards anymore, that's probably what yare was referring to.
Yes, but for the rest of us who still use it to keep our Chase accounts free, this thread comes in handy. It's also how this thread got started I believe. Just saying.

Everything about that bank, but especially the casual atmosphere and the attentive bankers.
They say TD Bank (formerly Commerce Bank) has that kind of atmosphere and CS. Did you ever try them?My father has been with them for years and loves it.
You just have to search Google for where to make a donation and there are plenty of places that will take $0.01 some even have recurring donation payments that you can set up! Good Luck!
The trick is to find an institution you don't mind to bring a loss to.
As already discussed, they neither gain nor lose with this.
