Where is my best option to stay for Shabbos?  I want to be walking distance to a shul?  Am I better off flying into Seattle or Vancouver if I want to go to both places?

There are 3 Marriotts near the chabad in Bellevue. I stayed in the courtyard in was very happy. It was an easy walk.

Shabbos best option is probably in Seward Park or Mercer island with hospitality or Airbnb- no nearby hotel options really. Best hotel option is downtown walking to the Capital Hill Minyan at the Summit at First Hill- it's a retirement home so the services are nice but smaller older crowd.

Flying into depends on where you're coming from and if you plan on driving across - but honestly not sure it makes much of a difference either way- what's the concern?

But then you have to be in Bellevue

Also there may be a new Chabad presence either in Downtown Seattle or capital Hill- try google search emailing them

It's a 40 minute walk from the Residence Inn.  I don't want to walk so much.

I actually liked spending shabbos there... More serene in my opinion.

True but walks can be far, less shul options, but no question prettier

Flying from NYC.  Debating to fly into Vancouver and leave from Seattle or visa versa or just go in and out of one airport

There is a more direct way to walk. I think it took about 25 min

is einsteins bagel pas yisroel and cholov yisroel?

What are the pas yisroel and cholov yisroel establishments currently open and good?

Day trip plan:

Fly in from LAX arrive 11:15am on DL (since it's over 900 miles they offer kosher breakfast in Biz/First)
My idea - which i don't know is plausable is: After checking into my hotel - find a bakery - get the best baked products i can find - and head over to the starbucks reserve / tasting room - to enjoy some coffee there.
Head to pikes place market.
Head to space tower and Chihuly Garden and Glass
Then off to join LOT polish airlines for the delivery events surrounding their new 787 which will include some Boeing things like the museum and some other nice things.

(unfortunately can't join the maiden flight with only 36 people from Seattle to Warsaw because it leaves 2pm friday - arriving shabbos - but going to make the ORD flight 9:25pm to WAW in J thursday night - and join the group there.)

The vaad certificate for each establishment (available on the website) states whether it is chalav or pas Yisroel or not.

Created a wiki and added some basics - hopefully some seattle experts will add to it.
