I bought 2 cards two days and had a horrible experience.
I loaded $160 on to them.

The first card went  through the registration process normally.

I went to the ATM tov withdraw the funds.  I thoughtit was ffree so I chose $160 for withdrawal.

The withdrawal got declined due to insufficient funds.
They charged me $1 for attempted withdrawal  :o

Then I withdrew $140 and had $17.05 remaining with no way to cash it out.

All in all this deal was a real pain,  but Thanx OP for sharing .

You win some you lose some.

I did similarly with 2 cards -- $150 ea. Withdrew $140 ea.

With remaining $8 on each card (after $2 fee) went to the pizza shop and cleared them out... like a reg cc -- Try it.

Dude! You still won! The level of wine is subjective, but anything with a 10%+ win is a WIN!!! "Who is rich - one who is happy with his lot!" Sorry to pick on you, you did say "You win some you lose some" there is no lose here IMHO

I just registered the card. It is linked to my regular Paypal account. Was I supposed to avoid that happening?

If they want to come take funds, now they can come get them from my paypal account, no?

This is too complex. Can someone wickify how to deal with these farkakter cards??

First of all,  you quoted the wrong person.

Second of all,  it was a lose situation for 2 reasons -  A)  When activating my 2md card,  I got a message that it can't be fully activated until they speak to me.
B)  The whole ordeal (still going on)  took waaaay too much time for the rewards netted.

Seems like the staff are pretty confused.

Some pointers I noticed. If they have the automated machines don't use them as the cards need to be swiped if over a certain amount ( I think 200)...

Stick to 20$ denominations, way simpler. Say $162.

Activate card. New email address will be needed if you do more then 1 I believe.
You do not need to link to your paypal account but you can.

Activation is def the annoying part.

Once activated with PIN go to ATM the one that doesn't charge you more then 1.95, withdraw $160.

Total cost 4.95+1.95.

Deposit cash.

I found easiest way to close account is by calling them.

yes - that's me x2..
nobody mentioned at first that they only give out 20's at the ATM...

wish i did $162.... or at the max of $300 per day would be $282.

so - the remaining $8 on each card i extracted out via regular store, pizza shop, so now both are at basically zero (5cents)  ;)

Just use it for the balance of the $50 spending in CVS. Pretty hard to get exactly 50 in spending plus there is tax.

Click Credit card also not debit this way it will use the balance of the card and wtvr is remaining you can pay with a diff card.

I found easiest way to close account is by calling them.

I called when finished emptying card -- they had no interest in closing the account.
They said a permanent one was on the way and that they needed to keep account open because the pizza shop hadn't cashed out their $8 yet...  :(

Why can't you buy a MO?

Isn't an ATM withdrawal easier then Money order?

Both you need to activate and close ( the real pain)

The card can be loaded up to $500 .  Not sure where you're getting $300 limit from.

It's 12:16AM, Daniel-san. Where should I buy an MO? Or should I go to the all-night Walmart? You told me I have 12 hrs before this card yanks $5 out of my pocket.
