FTFY
I repeat you can not get approved for the Amex if you have been approved within the last 12-24 months for the Visa

After I complete the application for both the AA Amex and AA Visa and press submit, the page empties everything I typed in and goes back to where I was before entering any information.
What's going on?

If not there yet very close. Double instant approval does still happen occasionally

My friend applied for 1 personal and a biz card. Personal approved Biz pending. When he called they told him that they can't approve both as its the same card. That's the the first time I heard this. He insisted he needs to keep the spending separate, they told him to apply for a different Biz card.

Told him to huca and fight it. Will post any updates.

I guess I will try it as part of my appo next week .

Does having 2 Citi TYP and 2 CIti Hilton open at the time make my odds of approval,
instant or otherwise highly unlikely,  and  or can I count on one at least ?

From what I have read it seems like you can enter your existing AA account number.
Love me or hate me. I still love you.

From FT . FWIW

I have been browsing this forums for a while but wanted to finally post because I had some luck with the 2bm only a week ago and wanted to share for those who think it is 100% dead.

I applied to the AmEx/Visa personal cards from the fp last week. Like many, I was immediately approved for one (AMEX) and got the pending status for the visa. After several days, I received my denial letter in the mail stating "you have submitted multiple applications for credit". A couple of days after receiving the letter (today), I called in the number from the link on the 1st post and talked to a representative. After saying I specifically applied to get two similar cards with similar rewards but different accounts, she said there was nothing she could do. I asked to speak to a supervisor and talked to a gentleman named Justin who agreed to review the application (said it was a common complaint) and he approved the Visa within 10min of being on the phone.

Just wanted to share and let you all know if you get a denial for multiple applications, all hope isnt lost. Maybe call soon and ask to speak to Justin!

With that said, I confirmed the 50k bonus for the amex and will do so with the visa when it arrives.

Anyways, just wanted to add a data point and give some hope.

Is there a 50k offer for the CitiBusiness MC or only Visa? The public offer is 30k. Anyone have recent experience with a 2bm on both business cards?

Any explanation of this phenomenon?
I tried with a different computer and the same thing happened.
Does this mean the links in the Wiki are no longer active?
