Well, it was late last night when I applied. Maybe it's no longer active.
Would my firewall block a cc application from going through? It's the only thing I can think of, although it never happened to me before.

this is happening when you submit the first page to verify application? Or when you actually try to submit the second page?

The first page - when I click "Verify Application".

No, but when I first tried tonight it was with no cookies from yesterday.

if you use the links from the wiki then you could trust those that walked  before you and you will get the 50k. But you could always call l if you need reassurance

Got approved for the Amex. Told to wait a week for decision on the Visa.
Do I call recon now or wait until I get the letter?

From what people are saying you have a much  bigger chance of getting the second approval by letting it slide and waiting to see if somehow your approval on the second card slips through. Calling right away seems to be a guaranteed rejection for multiple apps

In general getting both approved seems to be a long shot these days
