THANKS NETZIH!!

I am still looking for data points as to whether people skipping the flight to YYZ will get partner credit. I believe the earliest flights available in this deal were in November (although if I'm wrong and people were already able to take some of those flights, please correct me), so I assume we'll have to wait until mid-to-late November for the brave individuals who chance it to educate the rest of us.

1) Don't credit your miles to United. There have been many reports of United miles being clawed!

Booked earlier today 2x 1/16-1/26 LGA-TLV-YYZ for $575ea

Flight lands in TLV 12:40 PM on a Friday.
Looks like candle lighting is 4:38 PM

Any experience with a connecting flight landing on Erev Shabbos?

Is it doable? or should i cancel?

Note: Would love to change dates but all prices have gone up a lot since then. Tried 30+ date combinations.

People leave comments on the main site that they called the airline etc. But the deal is still on after 8 hours.

Using this I found tickets from $537 (with 2 stops) nyc-tlv-yyz leaving 1/19, 1,20, 1/21 and returning 1/26, 1/27, 1/28

thanx for the tip, just found a bunch of cheaper flights, from $385 - $575 from LGA with an extra stop each way.

Didn't work for me so YMMV. I found Boston to be much cheaper than NYC. Got 2 tix bos-tlv-yyz for $461.66 in middle of November.

I ended up booking 2 diff dates, When i try to cancel on orbitz it’s not exactly free, it says “Orbitz service fee$35.98″ that won’t b refunded,

so is it free or not?

I booked 11/28 - 12//6 from Boston for $461. I bought a JetBlue ticket at 630am from Newark to Boston. Because its two seperate tickets what happens if JetBlue flight is delayed or canceled? Worth mentioning all was bought Starwood Amex. Would they cover me?
