Does the GE credit post with statement like PGGM, or earlier/later?
Mine posted on the first billing statement.

Applied for this card. Citi recon reps are telling me I need to wait a week, since it's in pending status there is nothing they can do. Anyone with experience?
Whats the outcome?

It was fine. Apparently there is a new verification process that not everyone is familiar with. Once you get the right rep it's 5 min.

Was answered that mpx doesn't code as airline for visa and MasterCard.

Got card today and used it to book a flight for the yearly credit.. Hope statement closes in 2015..

How soon after booking a flight can i cancel the flight and still get the $250 credit?
(With Amex Plat it can be right away and the credit stays...)

Is consensus that there is no way you can get Citi to close statement early to ensure you get airline credit before 2016?

What's the issue? Is it PGGMing twice? I think we decided if you do PGGM before the December statement closes you should be able to do it twice (in back to back statement periods, December and January). Or are you referring to a different issue...

That is correct, and even if you try, it will just prolong the statement. I learnt it the hard way.

T&C's have the 2015 year closing as 12/10/2015..
Seems to be that 12/11/2015 is already considered 2016 airline credit wise..

Just applied; wanted to know the chances I'll be able to double dip for 2015 and 2016, considering I won't get the card for a week or so.

Not sure how the T&Cs can dictate an individuals December closing date. I'm sure some people have them closing later than 12/10.

-1, where did you get those dates from?

IIRC they rush this card (just like the AA Executives). Once you have the card and set up your online account, you'll be able to see when you're statement will close, chances are it'll be before 12/31.
