Someone sent me a email asking if I can ship a item to Sydney, AUS, I never shipped international, is there anything that I have to know when shipping international?

And how much would it cost to ship? (weighs less 1 lb)

Depends what service you will use, and what the value of the item.

There is always a time to start.

I would suggest to start with lower valued items (I'm not sure the value of this order)

When I buy some items for cheap to resale them, I always have to pay TAX , is there any way I can avoid that?

I know this maybe a n00b question, but yeah I am a n00b!

My greatest eBay story?
The macbook pro I got sealed new for $800.
and since the seller said it was a i7 and shipped a i5, he said he will give me a second i5

2 Macbook pro @ $400 each.

He has a big company that haas a contract with Apple.
I don't think he lost much.

(he explained that he can't return ect.)

a) You only pay sales tax when the seller is in the same state as you.
b) Only the end consumer pays sales tax (as opposed to other countries where VAT is applied at every step). So if you have a resale certificate (very easy to get if you have registered with the state), then some sellers will accept that to exempt you from sales tax. Technically I believe you can file for a refund with the state, but good luck with that.
