Disregarding the nature of the jokes, he actually didn't sound funny at all IMHO.

+1 unwatchable, bad delivery and honestly after the first punchline, you knew exactly where every other joke was headed

The "Father" who abused this child be encouraging him to and teaching him jokes of a sexual nature is guilty of child abuse and should be jailed.

The judges or whoever runs/owns this TV show should not have children telling jokes of a sexual nature. Its not just in bad taste, its illegal. The child is being exploited by his parents and the show.

I guess my point is that this should be wrong not just from a frum/Torah perspective.
There is something wrong with society if this is totally cool and legal.

FTR I personally think that it IS illegal to tell children jokes of a sexual nature. For some reason this position is very disturbing to virtually everyone here on DDF. People were literally getting nervous! -so I backed down from espousing this POV here... We can continue debating the legality of this if anyone is interested. Let me know.

From the last two articles of his that I read I can conclude:
A secular Jew's life is saved because he decides to change his flight so as not to fly on shabbos = chillul hashem, and is bad for Orthodox Jews to publicize and celebrate.
Orthodox Jewish kid tells horribly dirty jokes to millions = not a chillul hashem and good for Orthodox Judaism.

Everyone who says that it's all just because he's modern or what not is being ridiculous. Yes, it means he's exposed to the world but it's all what you teach your kids and who you are.
I know plenty of non frum and not Jewish people who would never in a million years teach their kids such jokes and let their kids talk that way let alone in public.

Well by planting children in front of a TV from age 2 is a assuring that they will absorb the degenerate TV culture.
If they do this, they are indeed teaching their children perversion and kefira and this (josh) is who they will become.

Planting your kid in front of a TV and not monitoring what they watch as they grow older is indeed a very bad idea.

(Side note, apparently putting your kid in front of a movie, or iPad as long as they're watching something kosher is apparently "ok" in the yeshivish world as I see many many parents doing just that. )

 Again, this has to do with good parenting, not what sect you're part of.
There are plenty of good parents out there who are raising their kids right in all different types of environments.

Take a look at the comments and you'll see that most of his readers don't agree with him. I believe his motivation behind most of these posts stems not from a true belief in his opinion but from a desire to simply stir up controversy.

Tons of modox and secular people shelter their kids from that kid of dirt, and instill values in their kids that promotes dignity and uprightness, and would never let their children watch that audition!

In a slightly modern high school that I am familiar with, they will not filter the internet access as a matter of principle!
They encourage free exposure to the culture...

Im sure that there are families that are careful, but as a community in general they are not.

Obviously as a community they are more exposed. That's one of the things that makes them 'modern' so to say.

I wholeheartedly agree with you that media today is worse than its ever been.
I agree that media can and does expose things to kids you don't want them seeing.

I also believe it's a parents job, not the schools to teach their kids proper middos and morals.
