Title: Kitchen Coordinator
Job Type: Part-Time, Opportunity for full time.

As the Kitchen Coordinator, you will play a vital role in our school's food service operations. You will be responsible for ensuring that food is prepared and served efficiently, maintaining high-quality standards, managing kitchen employees, and coordinating with the Coordinator of Operations. Your attention to detail and ability to multitask will be essential in ensuring the smooth and successful operation of our school kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare meals according to established menus, considering dietary restrictions and nutritional guidelines.
- Receive and inspect food orders to ensure quality and accuracy, and properly store food items.
- Ensure that all food items are served in a timely manner, maintaining proper temperature and presentation.
-- Must comply with National School Lunch Program requirements including all necessary compliance.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, following sanitation and safety standards.
- Keep accurate records of production, including inventory, meal counts, and any necessary reports.
- Maintain lunch attendance records.
- Must stay within the required budget.
- Oversee and manage a team of kitchen employees.
- Collaborate with the Coordinator of Operations to plan and execute efficient kitchen operations.
Additional Responsibilities may include: Providing food for all events that require food and catering, as well as teacher requests for a class celebrations as approved by the administration.
Liaison with government to for reimbursement of NLP funding
Running NBP - Running National Breakfast program
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet demanding schedules and deadlines.
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations, including proper handling and storage of food.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively, maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
