Only way to find out for sure is to google it. Lots of high end hotels have at least one or 2 rooms with one in the hotel, usually the pricier suites.

Never actually stayed in Santa Monica proper. I think Marriott has a few nice properties there.

And I realized that SBS is that Saturday night so I changed my reservation to New Years. Flights are cheaper anyway

I ended up taking that suite, and it was really awesome. There's just something about sitting outside in a private hot tub 8 stories up overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Yes -- I've seen that LeMSMonica suite, but when I inquired, they said that it's not possible to buy with points, nor a plat upgrade. Did you need to pay cash for that one or did they let you have it as a points plus platinum upgrade?
