I think T-Mobile prepaid. Look into ring.to as well. I've heard they do it but idk.

im assuming u mean ring plus, i have that and they charge $8 or so,

but wherever ur gana port to, ul have the same issue with cancelling that carrier

This is not true you can port out a t-mobile prepaid once you have a Sim chip (I believe they are on sale for $1 now) and never actually buy a plan. Once you port out the number Verizon will automatically process a final bill owed. Ppl like this option as there is no need to deal with Verizon directly

if u want to know about the phone being unlocked, upthread, some said it worked for calls/texts but lte was spotty.

if your asking regarding porting your , some1 just mentioned you can port easily to tmobile, i dont know the procedure..

but deffinately, one has nothing to do with the other, popping it into your g4 will not automatically port your number...

I believe it's done online while setting up a prepaid t-mobile account there will be an option to port your number... After making the account you just never use it.
