FAQ
When can I cancel?
If done in store, it seems SD reports rebate will be approved even when cancelled. So immediately.
Online...to insure you run in to no issues it is highly suggested that you wait 14 days before cancelling
How will trade-in be credited?

In-store you can (should) get it applied as a device down payment, bringing down cost of device to $150ish.
Online, you can get it sent to you as VZW gc

How long should it take for my rebate to be approved?
Reports are about a week

My trade-in is coming up as less than 300, what can I do?
Add a G4 (or any smartphone really) to cart and follow through, you will see value jump to $300. This is because the $300 is promotional value of ANY working smartphone. Appraisal value is what they would of given you before promo

You can cancel pretty easily by porting out to T-mobile prepaid (no need to ever use plan)

only thing is he cancelled before processing payment to pay off the dpp,which he said he was supposed to... so he had to fill out a form for them to send me a bill for the balance..

not sure if this worked to my benefit, as i recall some1 (either here, my whatsapp chat, or the store rep) told me that u can only payoff the dpp after 30 days. Could b if he would have tried to do the dpp first, he wouldve gotten stuck...(is this the issue others are having?)

Question that's slightly off tangent. Looking for opinions. Do you think it would work if I traded in 2 phones to open up 2 lines with $300 gift cards, chose 2 random phones, 1 being the s6 which I want, and then closed the account within 14 days which would mean that I'd be able to return 1 phone and keep the other with the 2 $300 gift cards?

if u actually return the phone, theyll probably revert the $300 credit..
others have just taken cheap phones for the other lines, and eventually just cancel the service
