It's is an elimination (no grains, legumes/soy, sugars or sweeteners- natural or otherwise, additives) diet that helps you identify food intolerances that good be hindering weight-loss or just general health and well-being. It's not technically a weight-loss diet, but most people do end up losing on it. Essential to the program is eating 3 proper meals a day, following the given template.

I've been on AIP (similar to W30)  for a year and a half and I just don't wash.

Why is there not a single full fat, Cholov Yisroel yogurt on the market?

I'm trying to figure out the original Atkins (20) diet. Seems to me you can't eat full meals. A half cup romaine lettuce has  .5 carbs and a cucumber has 2

I'm not familiar with Atkin's but yes, it is nearly impossible to do a no carb diet. Besides- the body needs *some* carbs to function.

I'm starting another Whole 30 on Monday.
I wish I knew how. I'm eating so healthy, but so stuck where I am.

Not usually.

I always have lots of fresh salad components in the fridge and can throw a salad together pretty quickly.

Then, whenever I'm cooking (proteins, or other vegetables) I'll usually make large portions which are good for multiple meals.

I think once you've done a whole 30 once you don't need to meal prep half as much as when you do it the first time.

I've only done it once. Want to do another just to 'heal my gut' a bit. It would def be way easier in terms of preparation this time around. Especially because I eat so much like Whole 30 as it is.

I actually didn't meal prep at all with my first whole30. But now that I'm working full time again, I just got to...

If I don't have lunch ready the night before, I'm pretty much done for. And by the time dinner rolls around, I've about as much energy to cook as I've got to work out...
