Good Office Chair Recommendation

Have you ended up with the x chair? I bought the X4 model today. Curious if anyone has experience with them.

I was gonna go with the Herman Miller‎ Embody, however, I was not able to get it with leather. I need leather.

HM leather is bonded, not genuine

Smooth office chair caster wheels - If you move around with your chair then these are great, glides smoothly and makes an end to the squeaky noise. No idea why all the expensive chairs come originally with the plastic dual wheel casters.

What do you specifically like about the Embody? What makes it worth the price you paid for it (and where's the best place to get it)?

Just found it to be the most comfortable and ergonomic. Back pain went away with it, so small price to pay.
Got it from a local distributor.

Like I said, they don't have an option of leather so I went with the X4. Ordered yesterday got it today. Best thing of all, I paid a few extra bucks and they shipped it assembled. I know I'm lazy... It's DVL technology is supposed to work great for back pain. Will report back.

I didn't care for Aeron at all.

These two tweets put together are probably one of the best education one can get on DDF. There's no one-size-fits all. There are different tastes, etc. I would like to try them both myself before I take the plunge. I am right now sitting relatively comfortably on a hard guest chair, with my (cheap) high back executive chair across my desk for guests to use.

I have a Steelcase Think and I like it. I preferred it over the HM options (Embody/Aeron) - it just felt better. The Aeron seat was uncomfortable for me because of the angling of the edges. The Embody felt too weird for me.
I love the adjustable arms - they swivel and extend.

Does anyone have any experience with their refurbs?

They are based in Toms River and have a showroom. I am thinking it is a good place to go try out different options and even have a longer term trial with one of their refurbs.
