I tried both chairs at the outlet, I liked the Embody high back, but couldn't decide which one to go for. I sit on my chair for 10+ hours a day and my back is killing me...

Offices all over the world buy their employees chairs for under $100 that are comfortable enough for daily use.

I actually don't like armrests and don't want a chair that is too soft.

Because of an AMEX offer I am looking at xchair.com, but I have no clue if they are indeed worth the price (AMEX is $120 off $600).

I am not looking for a high back, anything soft, or armrests, but something supportive that can be comfortable for hours. Ideas are welcome.

If only I could try out chairs to figure out what I like... (then I wouldn't be reaching out to my friends at DDF for suggestions).

Not all chairs are functional without armrests (example being the chair I am currently using, which is defined as a guest chair).

OH. I don't. Which is why I was asking about xchair.com.

I am not looking for cheap. I am looking for good value. Part of that is getting what I need and makes me comfortable vs other bells and whistles that I might dislike (for example, most "manager chairs" are not something I would like).
