How does that explain the $155 offer upthread?
Obviously the market has taken an upswing.
If your point is to say I was wrong - the reason I took the time to post was to provide context regarding the coins for those interested in learning and understanding more about these sets to get a more informed basis to make investing decisions. And it explains why there was little interest from the big players initially.
My personal opinion is that these will settle to a little above issue cost in the coming months. Obviously do your own DD. For anyone who follows the coin market closely - it's very common for an initial buying frenzy to fizzle out over the coming months/years. Many sets that initially commanded large premiums have settled close to or even below issue cost over time. The link I posted earlier is a great place to learn and gauge potential interest in these flipping sets.
And the large brokers aren't infallible in terms of their buying offers - I locked in a deal yesterday with a large dealer for $385 over on the morgan dollars from tuesday and he messaged me later saying he regretted offering me so much but would still honor our agreement. Although usually they are pretty on target as they know the field the best. (Please don't PM me for his contact info)
