Help, Google just disabled my email accounts

Why the need to blame anyone? Do you think the dealers anticipated this? I don't understand why you (and often Dan) need to turn everyone's pain into your gain for "foreseeing this". People lost their primary google account that is a big deal. No need to mention here when the pain is raw how you knew better and denied their "ads". Sorry for being rough, it's just your post hits a raw nerve in me.

I don't gain anything from this. And I said multiple times I hope they reinstate accounts and that this is devastating.

I got irked when some members were saying they didn't break any T&C and that everyone should sue Google.

Saying

That there aren't any T&C.

It makes people sound so ignorant it's painful.

And then people saying that we should sue Google and make millions on them:

This is a forums where people express what they think and when people say ignorant or outrageous things I will sometimes let them know what they are saying is factually incorrect. Hopefully that realization will help them in this case.

They will be much better off begging to get an account back than suing them for damages.

This is a terrible thing and I hope Google realizes how this is bad for them and way out of proportion. I hope everyone's account in reinstated asap.

I also gave some possible solutions and agree with Yuneeq that we give way too much power to these companies and if anything a good news story about this may actually cause law reform and give us the protection we deserve.

I agree, and that's why I'm hopeful that they'll reinstate the accounts.
BUT they own the whole shebang.  We have email accounts at their pleasure. I'm sure their T&C say they can shut an account for no reason.  Just as the airlines and credit cards have similar clauses.

It doesn't seem like Google differentiates between their services. Violate terms and you're out. That is scary and should be a topic of national conversation.

I'm trying to point out what I see as a clear T&C and why they would be justified. The more you know the better chance you have of making a coherent argument.

The same T&C page says:

When you use any Google services through your Device, your use is subject to the applicable terms and conditions for those services, including the Google Terms of Service. Use of certain Device features may require that you open a Google account. Note that Google services and content may vary by region.

Basically you are at their mercy for everything. And they can do whatever they want whenever they want.

I'm all for changing that at a congressional level, and passing cloud laws giving us rights to what's stored in our accounts.

Did you read Google Fi Terms of service? And Gmail terms of service?

They're not discontinuing a service. They're banning you.
Still, I'm assuming they will give over the data even if they do decide to ban.

i never said that i didnt break the t&c
i was asking which one we did (cuz i didnt read the t&c)
and when someone chats with project fi asking them what the t&c are and asking for a link, and the cs said that there is no public t&c but only internal, hence they couldn't provide a link, didnt think that that would fall under the category of not to rely..
and to follow up, the cs did in fact email that person a list of conditions (what/how many your allowed to buy)

That's how I read that line. They ended the Google affiliate network and gave me a few months to download the data before discontinuing it.

Sure does, it's one agreement. That's what the line means, by agreeing to this all other agreements become part of this.

The issue, and what's concerning, is that emails are being bounced back, so the data they may ultimately give, is going to incomplete and defective. This is where the irrevocable damages stems from, and it's what I'm going to lean on in a big way if this is not resolved in short order.
