my home internet is down... But I would assume IcelandExpress is cheaper. Or maybe Kuwait air. Keep in mind the 25k bonus miles promos on AA/BA/DL (I don't remember... But isn't DLs promo for low fare economy too?)

i am looking for a ticket from nyc to tlv from the 18th of December to the 24th of December (both after shabbos or Sunday morning) i need to stop in Zurich for a few hours either on the way there or back

3 adults, EWR - LGW NOV 28 -DEC 5. $1950 via KEF (beautiful stopover, even in the airport) on IcelandExpress.com
departing on DEC 1 lowers the price by a $35/person

I'm not sure about luggage allowance.

What do you say to booking with CheapOair on super saver fare (dont give an airline name just affiliates with one world, sky team and star alliance for a total of 679

Thats cheaper than what I found, unless you can fly on DEC1. Any airline that belongs to an alliance will be better than IcelandExpress, IMHO.
Personally I would go with IE b/c I have a craving to see Iceland, plus it breaks up the flight half-way through so max flying time is 3-4hrs. If you're with kids or lots of luggage then for sure stick with the normal flights.
The only thing I'd be afraid of is an that our fare includes an overnight stay over, which can be pricey. Also, it might have a long/dangerous routing through Turkey/Russia/Jordan etc.

Also that fare will be probably be impossible to change if anything comes up, since its not a regular ticket. I know someone who just had to buy a new OW tkt. (See above) because his tkt was from something like that & he couldn't leave on time, & they won't change it.
