#2: 888-643-9628

Call CS 1-888-338-2586 or 1-800-432-3117 and press # or 1. (If it's asking for your full 16 digits account number, it's 1. If it's asking for only your last 4 digits, it's #)

This application is being reviewed. You will be notified in writing of our decision, in approximately 2 weeks
It's pending.
If you hear:
This application is being reviewed. You will be notified in writing, within 7 to 10 business days, of our decision
It's been declined.

Business cards application status: call 800-453-9719.

7-10 day message on the business application line does not mean a denial.

No matter what the status of your app is or what the page said after you hit submit or what Chase emailed you, etc... CALL TODAY! Any "pending" issues can either be addressed once you get your letter in the mail in 2 weeks, or you can JUST CALL TODAY!
And if at first you don't succeed HUCA, HUCA, HUCA etc. If they tell you there's a max of 2 cards per 30 days, HUCA!
PS: If the reason you were declined on a 5/24 card is 5/24, and you are indeed 5/24, YOU WILL NOT GET APPROVED.

Does her denial make sense?
Yes, but you will explain that it's false via your argument above stating she had a mortgage and...

Will it help to keep calling?
You seem to explain yourself very well why she should be approved that's exactly what you should say to the representative be very clear and state as much possible formation as you could.
Make sure to put an emphasis on the fact that she's a authorized user on all your card which is causing the application to show as if she had multiple cards in the past.

If yes; what should her argument be? Thanks!

Thanks for your response! For some reason I never got a notification to this response, although I set up to be notified of replies. Just found this browsing thru the thread.

She finally got approved today after several times calling. Went from "too many accounts" to "not long enough history". Tried telling about all the above, it did not work. They only consider revolving accounts. Then they said her revolving usage is too low, only $900, they're looking for a $5000 number. Called back, shifted credit, approved! Thanks for your help.

Chase is wary of applications close together (3 months), but I've seen them even care if that last chase app was 6 months ago. If denied its likely they'll put that as one of the few reasons for denial. Usually goes together with other reasons.
I'm not who you think I am.

Ok guys anyone with advice here..
I signed up for the southwest business card with a legit business I got my 60k bonus points, then I signed up for it again as a sole proprietary with just my social security, but now I got a letter that I wont be getting the bonus rewards and I spoke to a chase rep who told me that since both cards have the same social I cant get the bonus points. Then I spoke to a superviser and he told me that ones you get a bonus on any southwest card, you wont get any bonus not on a business card and not on a personal card. Can anyone advice me on that? Thanks alot

Got denied for too many chase cards recently. I asked how many, they said i was approved for 2 cards in past 8 months with more recent one in June. HUCA said same thing. Should i continue HUCA or ask for supervisor or is this something thats final?

I ended up HUCAing one last time. I called the business line this time (not sure if that makes a difference). I called and asked if they were willing to move credit and the agent said the notes say that you did not want to move credit, have u changed your mind? So i just went with that and said yes i chanced my mind, even though the last 2 agents denied my request to move over credit. She said hold on and approved my application.

Interesting tho, after she approved, she transfered me to another deprartment to verify my identity. the agent said something about "due to the patriot act we need to verify DOB social and address, please hold. And he came back and said all set you are approved.

The cards you were approved for last 8 months that the agent mentioned, were they Chase cards?
