PS: If the reason you were declined on a 5/24 card is 5/24, and you are indeed 5/24, YOU WILL NOT GET APPROVED.

I just called 8886097805 and the guy said that he can't reach the department that is working on the application to see what is up with it cause it's closed now. It's only open 8-8. What does that mean for me? I should just call again tomorrow or is there something else I can do?

Hi all!

I applied for 5 Chase cards in one day.

Two Business:
Ink Plus
Marriout

Three personal:
Southwest Premier
Southwest Plus (Call-in)
Ritz Carlton

I am waiting to get the letters in the mail so i can have the correct ref. numbers.
With the call-in trick i know one is pending, one was approved (Ritz)
and two others were declined.

Two questions:
Where did app #5 go?

Is Chase like Amex where they will only approve two every five days, sometimes with another pull etc?

Thanks all!

So the SW Plus and Ritz card were approved, but they won't give me a third card..
Supervisors are offering to close one of the two (SW Plus or Ritz) to open the SW Premier.
I remember last year having to do the same thing but ended up with all three.

I think I had them close one card to open the third and a few days later called to see if they can reopen it....

Any data points that can help me?
Gotta get that CP again....

Do you have other Chase cards?  It may not work to override the 4 card limit, but I've used the "I'm not asking for Chase to give me more credit, I just want this card for reason xyz, so you can move some credit from my card abc, or even close card abc althogether...."

I have applied for 2 chase Ink cards,  got the first approved the 2nd ink card I was told that it will have to pass a 2nd review,  when checking the status it changed,  I used to hear the 2 week message now I get the 7-10 days message which most probably confirms I was denied.  Any advice how to go forward?  I thought when it goes for a 2nd review it's a %80 approval.

I (very) recently had my wallet stolen and had to get new credit cards and id etc. I was planning on doing a chase MBM now. Would this effect my chances of approval? Or should I wait?

Then I don't see why that should have any effect. You have the same amount of cards you had before.

Yes but I now have a fraud alert on my account which might make it a real pain to get any new card without automatically going through recon.

-1 now it will be a breeze if you have a fraud alert because the fraud team approve applications more easily than the recon team

Just got the following screen after applying for the Chase Ink Plus: Thanks for Applying. Please call us as soon as possible at 1-800-243-6010 Mon-Fri 8am to 10pm EST to discuss your application with a Customer Support Specialist. We look forward to speaking with you.

I'm debating between:
a) calling.
b) applying for the rest of the Chase cards in my AOR (Ink Cash, United Biz, Marriott Biz) and waiting.

Important points:
a) I was planning on NOT calling recon if I received pending, but just waiting it out.
b) I have an open Ink Plus that was approved a bit over a year ago also for a sole proprietorship.

Any thoughts?
