Seems to be the norm for the EWR-TLV route, always a delay.
  They should include it in the intininary which states a 7hr airport wait and then departure at 11pm..
   
  So what was the excuse this time?

  ELAL ordered pizza for their Frum passengers while waiting at EWR because of A delayed flight that suffered Tire issues.

 

  What the norm that can be pulled out of el-al for the 7hr delay? Will you get anything? Or is it part of the flight schedule therefore dont expect any compensation?

Because only Elal has delays, no other airline ever has any delays

Though, since I don't see any seals on the boxes, this might be almost like the regular ELAL meals. Potentially kosher, but with issues due to lack of supervision after manufacturing.

Also Delta. About 2 years ago. Long delay at LGA.  They put out snacks and drinks.  Same selction as what they serve on the plane.
