I know it's not right next to everything but seems it's not too far.

we used to go back when it was an SPG value, and we loved it. there is a chabad not too far away for shabbos.

1. Does anyone have a air mattress I can borrow tomorrow afternoon in Surfside for 3 nights?
2. Best place to rent a boat near Surfside?
3. Best itinerary for a day trip to the Keys with 4 kids aged 3-11?
4. Is MODS Kohen friendly? What about the Frost musuem?
5. Lion country safari worth the drive? Will the animals be out in the heat?

If you want to pick it up in boca, I have.
Skip the boat in Surfside and rent one in the keys instead. Go sandbar hopping, fishing, snorkeling, the kids will love it. Start in Key largo and work your way down to Islamorada, no need to go all the way to key west.
MODS is not kohen friendly.
I believe frost is kohen friendly.
Lion country safari is great, bring bathing suits as there is a park with rides and water activities for the kids once you are done driving through the safari.

Did both 2 & 4 yrs ago, with similar age kids.
My experience at Key West, dress the kids with clothes it wont bother you getting soaked, and crocks, sandals etc. streets there were flooded with about 2 inch water, even there was not major rain etc. Especially by the southernmost point of the US, which is the major attraction there. We drove down from Miami for a 1 day trip, it would have been helpful having an extra pair clothes besides the bathing suits.
Dont buy a kayak or snorkeling package on sites like Groupon, the weather there is unpredictable, and due to the weather they weren't available for that time, so our tickets was worthless, and we weren't planning to come back later.
Dont rely on over the phone advise.
Our Itinerary: Left in the Morning after Breakfast, road was full with cops, so be careful. Went to Key West Monument, than walked around, snorkeling wasn't available because of weather. Kayak they only let us do the adults on very limited surface due to weather conditions. (When we checked a day before, it looked like it will be a nice day.) We were back for supper.

Lion safari, we saw all the animals in mid summer.

don't know what exactly you're looking (style, cost ..) but,
i go to coiffureandcoffee.com, Roni is cutting my hair usually but did it a few times with Lunda as well. always was happy!

btw parking is free.

Hop on Google and start calling to schedule first. Don’t just show up.
Get a captained boat, the waters in the keys are very tricky, you’ll want a local captain to navigate to the best spots and set you up with everything. It’s worth the extra $.
