Can't get a later flight? It's really a beautiful spot.

Do you have checked luggage? Can you drop it off beforehand?

We left the Springhill Suites at 5:33am and arrived at 5:57am. Sunrise was at 6:37am and we stayed until 7:02am.
It's Friday AM so I'm nervous as is.
No checked baggage.

Thanks for providing the timing- really helps.
Beautiful pics!

Without checked bags and with boarding passes, I'd say you can leave by 6 and be OK. It's a tiny (and beautiful!) airport.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Hi, I have an oddly specific question, if anyone can help. We are planning a rv trip to yellowstone with our kids (mostly teens). We'll be coming from Jackson,  and the first day we plan to do the yellowstone lake area and Hayden Valley. The next morning we'd like to do grand canyon of yellowstone. It looks like location wise it makes the most sense to stay at canyon campground that night, but we only rv'ed once before and always with full hookups. Google maps is saying it's a half hour from canyon back to fishing bridge rv park. Is it better to stay at canyon without full hookups or drive back to fishing park, and what is a realistic travel time for that road in August? Thank you!

Can easily go without hookups for 24h, even with 2-3 showers. And you can go indefinitely by stopping to dump and fill during the day at any campground along the way, most charge $5-10 for that.

Thanks! Well, we're 7 people,  so we'll see if my kids are willing to shower at the shower houses. More concerned that generator use ends at 8pm. What do people do in the dark?

Most RVs have house lights that don't need the generator. In that case you'll only need it for the microwave, A/C (not really needed at night there), and AC outlets.

Thanks! That's good to know. I think  we can manage then.

just got back from tetons/yellowstone trip, a little cold but one of my best trips ever done, unlimited wildlife (over 10 bears), and every possible animal and bird spotted besides the wolf only tracks, i would recommend may (off season) for everybody for the abundance of wildlife and most top attraction parking lots empty you just need a extra day or 2 in case bad weather, plan to write a full trip report

Another RV question, sorry haven't been able to find it with Google.
When I search for rv spots, they'll show me available spots starting with the shortest spots first. We have a small rv, so technically can take the smallest one. However,  is there a reason for me not to take a bigger spot? They're usually the same price, so aren't I just getting more space? Is that considered bad manners? Will the rv park have an issue if I show up to a large spot with a small rv? Thanks!
