If I have a UA Basic Economy ticket purchased with a CSR, and I pay $45 to upgrade to regular economy with my UA card, will I get the benefits for buying some of the ticket on a UA card?

Never knew they had that service. How long is their typical response time?

Booking flight fare with UA points minus .80 cents which is getting charged on my United Explorer Card, does that qualify for card benefits (ex: free baggage)?
A flight that's available on Expedia and not available on Chase Travel, does that make sense?
2 questions I really need answers to, if anyone wants to chime in... thanks

Usually quick, some times there is a wait but it’s not the same as waiting on hold.

Which airport is easier for a group to navigate on a stopover, Paris (CDG) or Amsterdam?
Debating between two routings, one has a 1:25 stopover in CDG, the other a 1:35 layover in AMS.
Which is more promising? Less anxiety provoking for rookie passengers connecting?
And confirming neither require you to recheck bags during the layover?

With AA; unable to book inafant in lap seat online. Can I book adult tickets online and then add on infant separately?

AMS is much easier.

Correct.

Has anyone finding that domestic fares have been astronomically high of late?
I am seeing unusually high fares recently. Even for summer.

There's no way, it's very frustrating.
They just tell you to count 18 months from the last transaction.
