My neighborhood and dozens of others haven't seen a plow yet.

http://www.thelakewoodscoop.com/news/2016/01/street-still-unplowed-list-it.html

I called last night and was promised that it would be done overnight so I made sure everyone on the block didn't park on the street.

Of course I woke up to an unplowed street. It is now mid-day on Monday. There's no reason for them not to have gotten at least one pass of every road in town by now.

Maybe that's why. The township added a large percentage to their responsibilities which they were/are not required to do when they started plowing association owned developments. There is no way for that not to be to the detriment of everyone else.
More houses = more taxes.
More taxes = more money to pay for more plows
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

true but if they do not pay for themselves with that aspect they are to the detriment of everyone else. A development is significantly more difficult and time consuming to plow than the grid of the numbered streets. If they are not a township obligation then they should at most be at the bottom of the list to get plowed.

In your estimate, 90% of Lakewood is developments?
Because 90% of Lakewood is not plowed/underplowed.

Next time they should reverse-auction off segments of Lakewood, to be paid upon an inspected completion.

No but you are defending the terrible job.
Developments are not the reason this cleanup was botched up.

They finally came to my block now with a pickup truck which got stuck in the snow.

The mailman took a look at our block and left - I got a notice for a box I was supposed to receive  that they'll attempt re delivery tomorrow as the mailboxes were obstructed.

What are the general rules for a carrier's accessibility to a mailbox?
During and after a storm the Postal Service employees will make every reasonable, safe attempt to deliver mail to the addressee.
For successful mail delivery during and after storms, we ask for the cooperation of our customers so that our employees return home safe at the end of each work day. Carriers are not required to deliver to locations where safety issues — such as icy steps, snow-packed paths or icy overhangs — create perilous conditions. Some things to consider:
Painted porches and steps are particularly hazardous. While salting or rubber-backed mats help make them less slippery, we rely on our customers to clear the snow before a letter carrier arrives with the mail.
Keeping your steps and sidewalk clear of snow and ice — as well as removing snow from around curbside mailboxes — allows us to provide you with the safest, most efficient service possible.
In those situations when delivery is suspended, we look for the customer to contact local postal officials to discuss ways to eliminate the hazard. Sometimes we are able to offer suggestions that help restore delivery quickly.
Slips, trips and falls are the leading cause of accidents among letter carriers. In addition to the safety of the carrier, injuries to a letter carrier — or any visitor to your home — can result in costly liabilities to homeowners.

there is no way my development is getting mail for at least a week. 6 feet high against the mail boxes.

You can start by asking your regular pediatrician/internist.

There's always shuki Berman etc.

There are also many organizations that specialize in specific medical areas for advice.
