To signup for credit cards you can click here or on the “other credit cards” tab on top of the DansDeals logo banner to view links for card offers. Then just click on the link to “View all card offers by issuing bank” and scroll down to view all card offers from the bank of your choice.

For those who want to churn and/or want to get the bonus without paying the annual fee: Wait until the A/F gets charged, pay it off with the rest of the bill, and the sign-up bonus will post (at the end of that billing cycle). Then call to close the account and ask to be refunded. They can't charge an A/F for a card you aren't using. You will not lose the miles once they are in your US Airways account.

It seems that if after you use the card you just let it sit unused for a couple months, they will then email you with a targeted offer for 15,000 more points for spending $750 a month for three months.

Is the only difference between the 2 links in the wiki that with the 1st link the annual fee is waived 1st year? Anyone apply recently and have issue with only being accepted for smaller bonus card? Do I decrease the chance of getting the better offer if I apply with a 2bm with the Barclay Arrival WMC? If so, would it be an eitza to 1st apply for arrival card; if I get instantly approved apply for USAirways? Will that still count for 2bm? Worth mentioning I have never had an account with Barclays.

I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

1) Recently, it has been extremely hard getting a second one while the first is still open, especially right after the first app.

2)There is only a MC version and not Visa.

I think it's more the "right after" part, than a second one in general. I recently got a second one, no problem (and i'm far from being on Barclays' good side). They're cracking down on consecutive US Air apps IME.

it's been 24 hours since I submitted an app for US air first and then a few minutes later the new World card. Both went to pending stage. Not sure what to do at this point. I want to unlock my EQ for Chase but at the same time I don't want Barclay's pulling that too at a later date.

I do already have a US Air card still open from late October. However I did close my 2nd NFL account about 2 weeks ago from August. All those were instant approvals.

I just got my 40k on 2 of my cards. Like almost 3 months after opening. I might have messed with the statement closing so that might have delayed it a bit, but with the annual fee, you have to first pay the fee on the first statement. I only got it on the third statement.

Now is the time to downgrade it and get back the AF. That's why I would say to take to 40k and pay the fee and get it back rather than only 35k.

Nope, you can transfer miles for a large fee.

Anyone else with the same experience?
They won't refund the annual fee after 60 days even with downgrading the card.

The offer with the annual fee only got you the bonus after 60 days.  >:(

I can't admit to reading MMS  ;)  but look at what he quoted from someone from barclays
" He said that having 2 of the same cards made it easier for his large family to travel.  I’m guessing he was referring to the Barclays US Air card, which besides having a sign-up bonus also gets you a companion pass which reduces the amount of cash for families to travel. It was nice to know that a credit card executive had 2 identical airline loyalty credit cards!"

Unsuccessful
I got two of them last year, but now two applications spaced have been denied, they don't even pull my credit. But I have one open still. After I finish 750x3 will close and see if it goes.
