The onus is on you to prove they don't certify commercially if you're trying to make a point here.

I don't see how that's possible. It's clearly listed as a hotel restaurant, reservations are made on Hyatt.com, the receipt says the hotel name, and it's charged to your hotel room bill.

Have you ever seen anything certified by any of these Chabad Houses? I am guessing some of them are there just for people to reach out when they need a local kosher contact. Unless you can show a symbol that says Chabad along with Kosher or Certified or anything of the sort, I don't take these to be kashrus certifications. As I said previously, the name Chabad should generally not be mentioned in a Kashrus certification. If it is, I would be careful and do extra research. One cannot piggyback on Chabad reputation for marketing purposes.

So just take my word for this as an insider. If a kashrus symbol mentions Chabad - be wary. This doesn't mean that on a one-off event supervision cannot be arranged by a local shliach, but there again you should verify the knowledge and capabilities for the type of event.

Answer from a shliach operating a self certified restaurant in response to the question if  he follows the generally accepted guidelines/method of national agencies (including ok & CHK) for checking produce.... "You think I'm a baal tshuva?"
