Any ways to downgrade amex gold 1st year?
It's illegal for the issuer to raise the AF the first year, per the Card Act, which pertains to personal cards. Hence, they don't allow it.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

I recently disputed amex au accounts from my credit report- experian- and they removed them but put a security alert on my credit report. They also contacted transunion and equifax, and they put a security alert also on my credit report. Is this an issue if I apply for a credit card now? They are initial security alerts for 90 days, but not security freezes.
IME It means that no one can approve cards etc for you until they speak to you on the phone and verify they you applied.

You can still apply, but you won't get approved instantly.

Oh dear, that's a pain. What about being a red flag in the eyes of the banks? I know if you freeze your experian so chase will pull from the other Cb, it's important not to say that you froze it due to suspected fraud...

You should be able to call and remove the security hold.

You can say you froze it because I've of your service providers had a data breach....

How do you get chase to pull from another CB?

I didn't freeze my credit report. It's called an initial security alert, and they triggered it when I disputed the amex accounts in my my report.

I think it's Also known as a 90 day Security Hold. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Unlike a Freeze, the only thing that changes is that the creditors are supposed to get your approval before opening accounts. But they can access all the info.

Does Dan still have a referral link to chase Hyatt card?

It's not in the CC links master thread.

With the current AA changes, which card is worth keeping Chase Ua or citi AA exec ?
Usually use the miles for flights to and from Europe.

UA IMO, especially since they're now under the 5/24 rule.
